In Jefferson county we have several areas open for bow only they can be tough to hunt but worth a lok at and I have hunted one a couple times with no luck but am steady going back out there in hopes of taking home a nice one the area shows good sign but have to share it with small game hunters hunting rabbits and squirrels.

Howell Island in Chesterfield is archery only and it has a lot of deer but also a lot of hunters. You'll get walked in on about 50% of the time. It took a 158" ten point off it this year.
