Littleton, Illinois

I have a buddy from Littleton, IL and he is not a hunter. So as I tried to pick his brain about the place--- for possible deer hunting opportunities--- he could not tell me much. I think it is Shuller County.

Help please. He said the town is only about 200 people and a long way from any big cities, so I am thinking this must be a place worth investigating for deer hunting opportunities.

RE: Littleton, Illinois

It's in Schuyler Co., around Rushville, IL. Excellent deer there if you can find a place to hunt. Weinberg-King state park is in that vicinity, that's about the only public hunting I remember & it gets pretty crowded. Other than that, it's knocking on doors or phone calls to landowners. I grew up around there & it seems like owners are pretty guarded against "out of towners" hunting. Sorry I'm not much help.
