If anyone from Iowa/Illinois see's any rut action while they are out hunting I'd greatly appreciate them letting me know.

Went out last night and tonight in Central IL and seen a buck chasing a doe very hard each night.

i live in east central iowa and have seen one buck chasing a doe but that is it i think another week or so and they will be in full swing around here

It is just starting. The bucks have just started chasing here in the last two days. It is getting good.

It's only going to get better with each day from now on. I saw the most chasing last year starting Nov. 3rd through the 8th.

I saw alot of deer today, including a small buck chasing a doe right behind my stand. I would think this is the pre-rut, with more action as the week progresses.

I can't wait for next weekend, hunting saturday through tuesday!

I drove around the public property I am hunting in NE Illinois this evening and saw 4 bucks chasing does. All these bucks were 120"-140". I will be on stand all day tomorrow. The pheasant hunters start tomorrow! Heehee.

West Central Illinois and I have not seen any rutting activity since the first week of season.

Odd there was a 130 inch chasing a doe in early October and now I can't even SEE a deer. Alot of sign though, so I think they are still running around at night.

It was going pretty strong in carroll county this weekend.
