higgins/houghton lake area, MI
 

Any body hunt in this area? if so is it a good area? my wifes parents just bought a small cabin up there out in the middle of the woods, it's on like 1/2 acre and the rest of the property is state land. i wont be able to hunt it this year(i'm in japan) but next year i was hoping to hunt up there.

thats a tough area... they get ALOT of snow and the winters are rough on the deer. It is a little south of the snow belt, so you might see a few :D
