Some lucky (talented?) hunter in Adams county busted a 33 pt. non-typical with a crossbow on opening day. Pics are on the ODNR website.

full moon = bad morning hunts. deer are moving good in afternoon. i shot one doe only been out 3 times. end of the week ought to be killer.

Filled my buck tag Oct. 4th. 10 point with 3 kickers over an inch, scored 155 7/8. Tried to post a pic, but couldn't do it.

I was out Sat AM, 7 Oct and saw nearly 20 deer.Most does, all 40+ yards, didnt get a chance at a shot.It frustrating to see so many that close but not get a shot, but itwas neat watching all the activity.

That's a beautiful buck there excalibur43. I sure do miss living and hunting in Ohio. Marriage....moved to PA to be close to here family. Only half hour away from line. Be back to hunting there next year, giving up West Virginia to hunt ohio. Won't give up my Ill. hunt though. Congrat again on a dandy

went out today jumped 2 deer again dang need to watch what im doing.i just cant seem to see any on stand ........i hate the toledo public hunting land to many places in the woods you cant hunt orprivate lands right next to the hunting woods

Have been plenty of deer. Last weekend saw a small batchelor group of three bucks. The largest, looked like a 10 point, was sparring with a spike. Hopefully, there will be some rutting activity sparked by the cooler weather.

No luck on stand tonight, but there were 2 new fresh scrapes near my stand. Driving home, I saw a herd cross the road (1 buck with 9 does). Lots of rain and warmer weather forecast for this week, but another cold snap by next weekend.

Seen some deer but nothing worth shooting. My brother in law has seen some quality bucks but has passed on two..........will it come back to haunt him? In two weeks we will see!

I shot a doe last weekend and am hoping this weekend will bring a biggin' by, but I doubt it. Probably another couple of weeks before they start roaming around in the daylight much around here.

I finally got my doe in Henry County last wednesday i had a perfect shot with a double lung and the aortic artery comin outa the heart she ran less than 100 yards and when we weighed her she was 195 Lbs. which is the biggest doe i have ever seen and we figure that she was between 4 1/2 and 6 1/2 years old

I went scouting on monday and saw three does walking slowly. No pressure from bucks yet. Later on that day I saw a small four point walking the came trail but he didn't have his nose to the ground so the rut hasn't really kicked in yet. Weather has them confused a bit I think. Good luck guys
