Wisconsin/dogs trailing wounded deer
Iwas toldin Wisconsin we can use a dog to trail a wounded deer if the dog is on a lease and no weapons are carried. Is this correct?
I looked in the hunting regulations and seen where it said no use of dogs while hunting deer and couldn't find anything else. Any input and where in the regulations does it say we can. Thanks Dan |

RE: Wisconsin/dogs trailing wounded deer
yes you can use a dog as long as its on a leash what you need to do is go to the questions and answers section of the WDNR website and the question is in there with the reply for the WDNR that states you can use dogs to track a wounded or downed deer as long as the dog is on a leash and there are no weapons being carried.
