help with finding mulelies in SD.

I am trying to arrange some type of hunt going west of wisconsin thats not going to break the bank. can anyone suggest an area in SD that would be good for getting a opp at a muledeer? Looking for public land ideas any info would be appreciated.

There is alot of public land in the Black Hills, but most of the deer are whitetails. I did shoot a mulie there a few years ago, so there are some. I think there aremore in the southern Hills than the north. If you could move west a little into eastern Montana you would haveno problems finding mule deer on public land.

anywhere between the river and the black hills there are mulies. there is a lot of public areas to hunt out there too. go to www.sdgfp.info and look up the hunting atlas to see the public areas.
