I am from Dixon and will be hunting Lee county this year. Second year hunting, hoping to get a buck or a doe.....its all meat!

I'm from So. IL. but moved up to Kewanee last Feb. I'll be up here hunting public ground. I did secure a small tract of private land last weekend though. The surrounding area looks better than what I can actually hunt, but I'm thinking this tract will hold deer between and after the shotgun seasons.....also might be good during rut and serve as a funnel.We'll see if I'm right.

i live in the far north west corner of Jo Daviess county about 20 miles from the IOWA state line and about 20 miles from the wisconsin state line

My brother in law and i have about 500 acres here and i have about 80 acres in carroll county and around the same in Stephenson county. can't wait was out putting up my last stand about an hour ago and seen 3 really nice buck on the edge of the timber the biggest was around 10 pointer with a really wide rack maybe 18 - 20 inch inside to inside 31 more days and counting

Shoot GPS&Fords you aint to far from where I live now.I live in Kane county,and hunt southern Illinois,and for years up here in Kane county.Looks like the land I have hunteed here in Kane will be sold soon.So here in Northern Illinois,I'll be looking for some new spots and will be hunting public land.GPS..If you want to get together and hunt public land nearby PM me.Bill D>

Im in Chicago,i will be hunting Chain O'lakes statepark and 90% sure i will be heading to Silversprings too.
