SE IOWA RUT

The DNR is predicting the full rut to be on around november 15 here in south east iowa. I've been seeing some big bucks running right at dark.

On my way to work Wednesday morning, along hiway 20 east of Waterloo, I saw three different bucks hanging with does in about a 12 mile stretch of road. I'd say the rut is now. Jim

I know here in the n.w. part of Missouri, the pre-rut has slowed as far as I can see, due to the warm weather we are having. Saw 5 bucks(2 of them nice ones) bunched together last night in a bean field eating, with no does in sight.
