IL Bowhunting regulation
I have a landowner 100yds from my house that has 20 acres and a tree farm. He had a big buck mess up 50 trees last year. I need some documentation that says that bowhunting is legal outside a specified distance from an inhabited dwelling. He says that as long as it's legal I am good to go. I looked through the Hunting and trapping regs and did not see anything specific. Please help.
This will be the perfect place to take my kids early season and harvest a deer together. P.S. Is anybody else starting to twich and take long stares into every field or is it just me!!!!?????? |
RE: IL Bowhunting regulation
for bow hunting it is 100 yards from a dwelling and for shotgun it is 300 yards , also for either you can hunt inside those limits if you have written permission from the occupants of the house
