Minnesota Moose

Is there a population great enough in Minnesota to allow a hunting season. If there is how have people been doing and what is the success rate. Would it be worth for an out of stater.

RE: Minnesota Moose

Hunting for moose in Minnesota isonly open toresidents, and even we are limited to one tag in our lives. I drew one last year, but didn't get my moose. There is only a season for the northeast part of the state (arrow head) and success is usually in the low to mid 60% range. I was lucky to draw a tag after 4 years. In some of the more popular zones, guys sometimes have to wait 15 years or more for tags.
