Kansas Hunting
 
I have a chance to hunt Coffey County Kansas, on private land for Whitetails. Anyone know about the area.The property is 1350 ac plus other land.

I don't hunt that area of KS., but any where in the eastern 1/2 of the state has great whitetail hunting, and even the western half has pretty descent whitetail, and some great mule deer hunting! If you have the opportunity to go, take it. It's getting harder and harder for non-residents to draw permits!

If your out of state, I would look the property(s) over before I spent the money for a hunt there. Kansas has some awsome deer. I hunt the south east corner of the state.

What part of Coffey County?
I can get detailed info if you want
Lived in Ks my life.......>50 yrs
Coffey is known for some BIG ones, be careful they might glow inthe dark
Nuc Power plant at Burlington , just kiddin, GREAT deer hunting area
I attached sample aerial, let me know the area
Kansas is GREAT whitetail hunting.
Last season, I got 12 pt, my son a 8 pt.
