whats the earliest breeding activity you have seen?
Just a curiosity question guys...last fall I saw a doe in heat on October 6th while in stand. She was chased all over the place by half a dozen bucks culminating in the 'act' with a 3.5 yr old 140ish 8 pnt. I know people see a few early fawns every year and was curious how early others have seen this type of thing. Thoughts?

About 10-12 years ago I saw a doe that appearently was in heat in the first week of our bow season, which would also be right around the 6th of Oct. I imagine the fawn survival rate is lower than usual, due to the cold rains that are so common in April.
