Hunting IL DNR Land

Are old mine sites owned by IL DNR open to public hunting? I live near one and would like to know. There are no signs posted onor near it. I have heard they are open to hunting but do not want to get in trouble if they are not.

Go here

http://dnr.state.il.us/

Pull up the site and it should let you know there if you can hunt it or not.

I did not find anything on the site. What part should I be looking for? The mine is real small and might not be on the site.

I guess if you cant find it on the site then I would call the DNR directly and talk to someone there.
