Walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk. THat is about it. I started shed hunting 3 years ago and i have only found about 20 antlers. It is so much fun when you find that first one. Look at fence crossings, sometimes when the jump the fence they jar the antler enough to make it fall off. Know where the bucks are bedding and feeding. Look on timber edges, on trails that you know a buck takes on way to feed or bed. Hope this helps, but it isnt easy you have to do a lot of walking Trust me when you get that first one, it makes you feel pretty good. Heck every time i get one i feel really good.
