Kansas Prarie Dogs

Is there anyone out there that knows when and where to hunt Prairie Dogs in Kansas?

Spring and Summer. South, Central and Western KS. Anything not in the NE will have Pdogs. Gotta find good hay or alfalfa fields and you'll see the mounds.

what does it cost to go hunt prarie dogs? Is there public land you can do this on? I bought a 17hmr and would really like to do this.

There are a lot of landowners with cattle and horses in their fields. You could go around to property where you see them and ask landowner permission. I don't know of any pubic land that holds them here in KS but i'm sure there are some around here.
