Kansas Deer Season Dates?

How are the opening dates of rifle season determined? I'm just trying to plan ahead a little bit and wondered if there was some rule that determined when opening day is or is it an arbitrary determination made by the KDWP? Does it always open on a Wednesday, so is it likely that it will open on Wednesday, November 29th, 2006?

most likely yes. then it goes for a week from the following sunday. Which would be Sunday December 10, 2006. If you dont fill tags then, there is a DOE ONLY season which should be Janurary 1-8th.
