RE: My first buck!
Ok ok - I promise i will eventually quit talking about myself on here... But if anyone cares (which you may not) I was interviewed by Terry Acton and the interview will be on his show on Saturday morning.. This is mostly for you guys around the KC area - his show is at 5:00 a.m. on Saturday morning on 106.5 FM (WDAF)... Anyways - thought some of you might be interested to know... I'm excited about it except that I won't get to hear it because I am in Manhattan and 106.5 doesn't come out this far. Ah well...
Anyways - Happy Hunting! Oh yeah - the buck went to the taxidermist yesterday... now i'm trying to decide how i want him mounted (looking which way, ears up or down, sneaking or alert.... too many choices!!!)
Thanks all!

Nice buck!! I went to KU and never saw any good deer east of Lawrence. I did see some out around Clinton Lake, but never over toward you in Desoto. My folks still live in Lawrence and my dad hunts a little up around Perry-Lecompton but mostly out at on our farms in Smith county.
