I can not wait. I had to clean and redo my stand yesterday because of the winds. I had a tree fall in my walking path and because of how the tree angled this year I had to set up a different stand in the tree too. Now it is all cleaned up and ready to go. I just hope the chain saw going and have to redo my stand did not get them to upset that they will not come by me now. But at least I am off all but one of the paths where I worked.

i believe the rut will be in full swing this friday for shotgun. ill be missing school to head out. good luck to all. around here the bucks have just started chasing. looks like its going to be a really successful shotgun season.

we are ready up here in lena this will be my 11yearold daughter second year of hunting. she was luckey enough too draw a lake le aquina permit this year so it should be a good time. but just being out hunting with her getting nil is good as long as she enjoys her self

Sorta pumped. I just really don't like all the "orange people" and all the city boyz from Chicago who don't know chet, yet often come down and kill a big buck. I will hunt, but I will be looking forward to the solitude of bow huntin'
