my first deer hunt
 

i am 16 years old. i am deerhunting in IN. this is goen to me my first deer hunt and i am doen it by my self and wanted to know some pointers on what i need to do. i have got my stands up and have seen alot of dows but no bucks. i have a remington 870 20 gage mag shotgun. and should i shoot a dow if i have the chance or should i wait for a buck to come along?

Shoot a doe to start out with. Be as quiet and still as possible, and always slowly scan the area for movement. The trick is to see them before they see you. Then figure where they are headed and where you might get a shot. Dowhat you have towithout making any noise or moving suddenly, andmove only when the deer are not looking your way. When you do shoot, aim small, miss small.

Be patient the deer always come through about 10 min. after you leave your spot.
