Nebraska Pheasant outlook for 2005?

Has anyone heard anything about the pheasant forcast for Nebraska this year, or any of the midwest for that matter?

I don't know about no accual outlook but i can tell ya i've never seen so many pheasants around since our downfall few years back as i have so far this year. I think it will be a very good year.

Thanks Derag2. I just started hunting pheasants again last year, after nearly 25 years off. I bought a new shotgun this summer and want to try it out this fall on some CRP lands. I'll probably head south of Omaha somewhere.

I'm hopin' it looks good. this has been one long wait, and it's only july .got a new pup a month ago and can't wait to get her out . I've seen a few out around the edge of omaha which you don't see to often. I'm keepin' my fingers crossed.
