I know Topgun is no longer on this site, but I just wanted to let you know that he has passed.

I'm sorry to hear that. Top was a very knowledgeable hunter, especially on Wyoming rules and regulations. We shared many PMs and he helped me get started on the process of applying for points and understanding how to navigate the Wyoming webpage in order to understand the units and the maps.

He couldn't always get along with everyone in the keyboard world, but he certainly knew his stuff.

If you happen to have a link to an obituary I know people would like to be able to read it.

I don't know too much about how go fund me pages work, but I came across this on another forum if anybody is interested. Looks like it's set up in honor of T.G. and the money goes directly to the RMEF .

We stayed in contact but the last time we e-mailed each other was about 3 months ago and he had had a great season hunting in the west. I am very sorry to hear that.

I am shocked at this bad news. Top was always in great shape for his age so I wonder what went wrong. Perhaps as a form of respect the mods could remove his ban since he was on the site for years and did make some valuable contributions. Somehow at least from the way I see it any rule infractions that resulted in his ban are overshadowed by the finality of death. I hope that royal elk and 200 inch muley is waiting for you Top.
