Default RIP Rickmur

It's seems all to often nowadays that someone is making these posts but we lost an HNI legend today. Although he hasn't posted here of late, at one time Rickmur was a pillar of huntingnet.com, not only in the off season but in bow hunting as well. Pre-meltdown we could always count on Rick Murray jr to provide positive daily contributions to our site. He was an avid bow hunter, a father, a grandfather, a husband, and a friend. Do not judge Rickmur on his last years here, for whatever reason he became disgruntled with mods but that all seems silly now.
He was killed in an early morning auto accident today.
You old timers share your favorite stories here, I'll sticky this for awhile.

So Rick, if you login from heaven, tell davidmil hey from us.

Wink

I have very positive memories of the man. Too bad he and Mr. Miller can't post from where they are. That would be fun.

I know most that will read this have no idea who Rick was to this and other forums, let alone what kind of man he was off the forums, but he was a great one. You will be greatly missed, my friend. Prayers to all that knew and loved him. This is a sad day

Years ago all my hunting equipment was stolen from my car at work. Rick called me up and insisted on giving me an extra Hunter System Safety Vest. We talked often over that time via the phone about his weight loss and family. Man, this is a tough one to swallow as he was really enjoying being a Grandpa. He just attended his Nephew's wedding ... last I knew he was going on a bike ride as Rick loved to ride ....

Rick was one of my favorites here, always great for positive input on just about anything, Prayer extended to the Murray family and friends, another good one gone way too soon
