I dont come here anymore, however i felt the need to make a visit to celebrate the life of a friend. I had the honor of having lunch with David twice. It was awe inspiring. He was a true hero, father, friend, husband. the only comfort is knowing he is with Beth now his beloved wife. One final salute to Captn Miller. RIP

To the Miller family,

Although I never had the honor and pleasure of personally meeting David he always treated me as if I was an old buddy. He was a true gentleman and great man in the truest sense.

I extend to you my deepest condolences.

Good bye David. Thank you for leaving us all with such a fine example of how to be a good man.

I am sorry for your loss and thank you for letting everyone here at HNi know. Many have been asking after Davidmil and worried about him. May God Bless Davidmil and comfort his family and friends. He was a longtime HNI member, a friend of many and was well liked by all. He will be missed but not forgotten. Godspeed Davidmil, Godspeed!

Very sad to hear that David has passed. He was one of the good guys on HuntingNet. Although I never met David, I thought I knew him. He will be missed.

Dave was one of the people I am most proud to say I have known. He was always quick to laugh, quick to right a wrong, and quick to help those in need. The world darkened a little today, but hopefully those of us who met him can emulate his qualities and relight the void he left. I am already doing my part and buying some blue undies in the morning.

Default It was a complete privilege to know David Miller

They do not make them like David anymore. He was an all American hero with a sense of humor that went to his core. For those of us who had the privilege and honor to get to know him, we will never forget him. He encouraged me thru one of the most difficult times in my life. He served his country with honor, for that we are eternally grateful. He loved his wife with passion and we watched him go thru her illness with love, caring and dignity. He is with Beth now. For this we are thankful. I am most thankful that we will see him again. Thru tears I write this. Words fail me on how much I appreciated this humble, humorous old school veteran. Rest in peace my friend. I look forward to sharing time with you when we meet in eternity. God bless your family & friends as we mourn and yet remember, all that you mean to us. Love & appreciation, your nurse, sunset.

So sad to hear of David's passing. He was one of the first people I got to know when I first joined the site so many years ago. To his family I offer my sincerest condolences. He is now with his wife Beth and all is well. He was certainly an American hero and will always be one of the cornerstones of HNI. God Speed Davidmil.
