Located in east central Illinois just west of the Indiana state line, this farm has an amazingly high deer population. Forest, open fields and creek running through land. In 2014 Edgar County was recognized the top county for the number of deer harvested in the state of Illinois.
Two deer hunting lodges located just one mile from this farm is evidence of the popularity and success hunters have had in this location.
During the Edgar County bow season in the fall of 2018, Luke Brewster, a hunter from Virginia killed a white tail buck with 39 points and a rating of 311 by Boone and Crockett. This kill has been said to be the largest white tail buck killed in the state of Illinois.
An additional sixty acres of deer and turkey hunting land in Parke County Indiana is included with this Illinois hunting lease.
