Well, farm land in northwest Illinois is probably around 5K an acre, but you sure aint gonna get near that price in southeastern Illinois. Its nice to hold out for a good price, but sometimes ya just gotta operate according to lowered expectations when you are in an area where land prices in general are lower than other hot areas of the state. But. like i said before, anythng can happen nowdays, so guess that letting yuor reach exceed your grasp may be a good philosophy when it comes to real estate sales.
