wabash river
 

took a ride over to the Wabash river this afternoon to check it out. I pulled up parked up under bridge by boat ramp. The parking area is quite a bit higher than the river. Walked over and there were several Big Heads feeding in a small eddy just below me. There were some grass carp as well sucking on the scum. Now to get over there and and wack some. This is the closest place to me to shoot big heads, only 15 miles one way. :barmy:

Rob and I hit the Wabash river this morning put in at 9am and hauled out at 11:30 so Rob could go to work. we shot 3 really nice buff's and 2 grassies. Did not see any big heads, did have one really big silver jump in the boat. Was over 10# for sure.

Had a couple more silvers take to the air and they are really getting to be chunkers, no longer something you want to be hit by as you motor down the river. Before they were small enough to be just an annoyance but now they are a danger.
