Bow fishing spots????
Hello, my name is Brent and I am now compleatly positive that I must start bow fishing! I will be buying a setup here this friday and would really love if any one could tell me where the best bowfishing spots are that are close to Springfield IL.
Thank you in advance!!! Bowfisher to be Brent C |

You can try Lake Sangchris for lots of little carp tucked away in the lilly pads. Not sure when the season runs out over there anymore but lots of shoreline to fish.

Worth a try >.< any one els know of any places near me?
|
Also,
Though the water clarity is not often there, the Sangamon River is home to many rough fish including Asian carp. |
would u say its worth a try?? for someone new would i even be able to spot the fish in the water?

Brent,
whatever you do, don't get discouraged if you don't see and shoot a lot of fish at this time of year. This is the time typically when the fishing gets real spotty, some days may be OK and other days quite poor. Get your act together and get ready for next year. |
