For those of you going here now that the RFR is cancelled, there are ladies from the Womens Outdoor Network looking for boat rides to try for silvers.
Last I heard they had 12 looking for boat rides...

well a tire lost all tread last time so we used spare and without one we wont be making it this far...good luck everyone anymore shoots later this year?

Well looks like we went from a 2 hour drive to shelbyville to a 4 hour drive to New Athens. So Billy, Mr. Extreme, and I will be in disguise so we can sneak up on Ken, he'll never know what hit him.

shoot it said 3 hrs for me there so ur prob 4.5 or 5..since ur not showing up u can just tell me where those fat grassies are and ill go let em off the leash for u:cool2:

how did it go

Bowfishing-wise, it was horrible. Hardly any fish anywhere. We had Barb Baird from the WON (Womens Outdoor News) on board with us and I'm surprised she didn't die from boredom. I think 13 lbs was the winning weight.

We went up to the Carlyle spillway afterwards and only saw gar (lots of them) and small silvers. Not a bighead anywhere. Weird.

Thats a long trip for bad bowfishing. At least she rode the fantoon:woot:
