Too windy for the boat
Hit the Rice lake- Duck Island area today. Way too windy for the boat - did shoot some commons, grassies and one small buff from shore. Still good to get out after all the rainy weather and the scored buffalo was pretty good fried up fresh.

The ramp was open on sat., however water was way out into the parking lot. Wouldnt be surprised if they did not close it for a few days. I was told last year by one of the dnr site workers that the big commercial fishing boats loaded with carp tear up the paving when the water gets into the parking lot, so they close it till water recedes. I plan on trying it one afternoon this week. I had been wanting some more water, but this is abit more than I wished for.
