Great story Bowman.I seen them walk away and drop as if they wern't even hit with regular broadheads.It's all drama with open on contact heads and 70# draw wt. now!If you look at the tips of the breast feathers hens will be brown and jakes will be black.Again congrats.

HEY!! Judd and Kendall! Way to go! Nice deer you guys.

I have a couple arrows just for turkey but I didn't bring them with me. I have some Spitfires with those spring-prong-things that help keep the arrows in the birds. I'm sure they would have made a difference.

And both my birds were jakes. I knew when I shot them because I could see the differences between them and the females. After the flock took off tho I wasn't so sure. But both these have the black feathers.

Lethal Louie used both buck tags this morning!! Rattled the one in and the other came in to beat up on the dead buck.

Got this doe this morning.

Filled this IL. hens head with lead a couple of weeks ago and killed my 2nd IL. archery hen over the weekend.She did one of the coolest hurt dances...a one legged circle hop back to the decoy and layed down and died.
