Bowfishing in the Quad Cities Area

OK...I am lazy, but would appreciate any help or headstart I can get. Where are some locations around the Quad Cities that I might have some luck?

There have to be several places near you. ...and definately better than the Illinois river, u n l e s s you are talking about silvers.
Have you tried the Hennepin canal? Also Boston bay at New Boston has some really big carp.
And I know it's in Iowa, but lake Oddessa has a wide variety fish.
I'm sure there is more.

you dont have to go far at all. the hennipen canal is full of carp and has some bonus gar. if you are interested, they are still moving, can be shot off of the bank, and are only 20 minutes from orion. if you want more info, message me.
