Big heads below carlyle
KBI-Prez drove down and met my cousin Marty from St. Louis at carlyle dam this morning for a big head outing. But now with out some adventure. I was woke up at 4:30am to let my dog out to do his business. While up I decided to call Bill as he was to be on the road by 5am to meet marty. Bill answered the phone in a near panic. He went out to get his bow and the string was broken, Now what. His other older bow was not set up. I suggested that I meet him with a back up left handed oneida that I had all set up. So off with dog, and bow at 4:30 in the morning to give him the bow. Of course The dog and I had a donut on the way home. So any how marty had 3 big heads in the boat already when bill got down there at 8am. The final take was 46 big heads in the boat and 3 buff's. Bill had 3 pull off's as well as Marty. Bill also connected on a double on the big heads as well. :kt: The great part was they shot most of them down below the rapids below the suspension bridge. They just floated down stream and behind every blow down or any structure they were stacked up. He said they saw schools of 30-40 coming at them at times. The largest was 28 pounds. Any one knows that is a pretty full day on top of driving 6 hours round trip. So any one interested in shoot some sounds like a pretty good time to head down. :sign0016:
