1st trip to Clinton lake
Well Snuffy and cliff, Another non-shooting buddy of mine we all headed out to clinton lake today. Wow, never seen so many boats on a week day. There were at least 2 boats in every cove. Guess the crappie are hitting pretty good. It was really windy, but the fish were up. Had to hunt for calm water. Shot all the fish back at the end of the coves. I did way to much missing, I'm blameing it on my knock point slipped about 1/2 up and I did not notice it unil late in the day. After fixing that, I started to hit some. Ended up with 18, but should have had twice that many. Was nice to get out on the lake for sure.
