Progress on The Boat
I finally got some time and warmer weather to do a little work on my boat. I picked up a 1652 back in January and then found a deck that I adapted to fit my boat, had to widen it a bit.. Finally got it mounted put on lights and troller along with a rubber safety mat.
Before After, deck in place and a couple of lights. Rails back on. Troller mount and rubber mat in place. |
Looks good!!!!!

Looking good John.
I see only two minor issues. You might have some fish tangle up in those front lights, and the holes in the rubber mat look like good carp egg receptacles so be sure to wash the deck off right away. ;) |
Yeah, I may need to redo the front lights. I tried putting them under the deck, but my deck doesn't go all the way to the front of the boat (slight miscalculation :eek2:) and the lights shined way out in front of it. I might just mount them to the front rail of the boat and hope the don't drown.

Cool.
If you end up not liking the rubber mat, painting the deck after adding a sand additive to the paint works great. I also put some of those adhesive non-skid asphalt strips around the edge. It's rough to kneel on in shorts, but there is NO sliding around to be had anywhere. Washes easy too. |
