Congradulations to all you deer slayers. Looks to me like there are a bunch of Bowfishers that also know how to wack some deer. I just picked up my cuttyback trail camera. Was out for a week had 32 pictures and every one was taked at night. Not one Daytime shot. Oh well I'm headed out any how..

Congrats Phil!

Billy K scored on a big late season doe.

I heard Chris E. had 7 bucks walk by him while he was out after a doe. A coyote also came by and it didn't get a pass. :)

Congradulations on Chris (bulzeye) on his coyote. I got a test message yesterday saying that he had shot it at 175 yds now that is a poke with a shot gun slug. Also an update on Bill's Doe. He shot it on the dead run with his new Muzzle loader. Actually only 3rd shot he ever made with it. He shot two shots zeroing it in and this third shot at a running deer. Hit her in the spine just a little high right up over the vitals. The guy is a shooter.

He said he would send pictures, when i get them will see about getting it posted. Said it did not have brow tines. just 6pts..way to go snuffy.

Well now that it's over Congratulations everyone who was able to connect.

Now with a slight detour through the outdoor show season, we return you to your regularly scheduled bowfishing....:p

Wait for me !! (cuz I'm slow) :s2:

No deer for me this season (only got out 3 times with the bow) :bash:

I did see 7 deer in range on the last gun weekend, but it was for does only, and of course all 7 were bucks. :eek2: Only about 60 yards away too -- woulda been pot shots, and I think I coulda nailed 2 with the limited escape routes they had.

Anywho, I finally got bored enough to whack my very first coyote ever with the ole slug gun at 175 yds. Let it fly when he had his head in the snow sniffing out mice. Was 37 pounds, and I kept the tail.

Here's the scene...

Even got to see some fairly rare frozen fog on the way home. Very different structure from freezing rain. Looked like thorns made of ice crystals.
