'Oh whatta day'
Started out this morning Labor day, Snuffy, Grandson tyler, his dad Brian and I went to a 3d shoot over in indiana. It was a combination outdoor 30 target 3d shoot and ended up inside shooting the Interactive video shoot. After shooting that we went home changed and headed to the wabash river for a afternoon shoot. This time it was just snuffy, brian and my self. Shot 2 nice 15# grassie. OF course snuffys beat mine by 1/2 oz. Also boated two buffs. My son in law was not even shooting, just riding and driving the boat and he ended up landing a silver as it jumped in his lap as he was riding in the back of the boat. Got home just before dark, Had time to dig a nice trench and bury the fish in my garden for next season. To top it off I BBQ some nice beef ribs for supper. WOW WHAT A DAY..
Snuffy and his 15# grassie. too bad we were shooting in Indiana. Son-in-law Brian with is first silver, he just caught it, did not need a bow. Snuffy got tired of shooting fish and started to clean up the river one aluminum can at a time. Here is the wabash gang. getting fish ready to become garden fertilizer. |
what part of the wabash?
We shot Little Wabash to the Big Wabash last night. Big Wabash was gettin with it.Current was way too much for us. |
We were inbetween Covington Indiana south to Cayuga boat ramp off Rt. 132. Current is moving but not too bad. Fish are up sucking on the scumb where it collects by any log jams or eddeys. You can see and hear them scucking.

we found the buffalo sucking on top.
