Clinton Lake 7-17
Me and Brian D. will be taking out a newbie Friday night at Clinton....Would be fun to have a little competition with another boat...Any takers?????:confused0024:
We will be putting in at the West side access... Ken |
Well the lake is muudy as heck; I guess the wind didn't help that matter too much! :violin:.
I am sure we were driving over plenty of fish; just couldn't see em.. We ended up taking 3 quilbacks, 3 commons, and one Buff. The newbie had a blast even though he did not connect...For some reason he couldn't get the hang of the quick shots....He did say that that was the best and deffinately wanted to do it again. My genny quit on us a few times....I suppose 3 years on an el-cheapo genny I should do some type of maintenance on it... My new (to me) 30 horse that I bought and the jack plate I designed and Brian D. fabricated got the ole girl up to almost 15 mph. That is with: 40lbs of 2 stroke fuel 110 lb genny 2 marine batts @ 95 lbs 30 lb jack plate 725 lbs of man== ------------------------------------- 1000lbs of equipment and peeps not to mention the lights, decking, converter and tools...HMMMM I think I like that!!!!!! |
