Ohio River Gathering July 17th - 19th
 

Looking for a nice turnout at the Ohio River Extravaganza near Grand Chain Lodge on July 17th Friday evening thru Sunday July 19th. Come on down for any part or all of the event. Both cabins are booked fully but there are still three nice size rooms available at the lodge and plenty of camping right there near the ramp. For more information on lodging call 618-634-9411.

Directions: Take I-57 to exit 18 Shawnee College Rd and head east. This road eventually T's at IL highway 37 and you then turn right or head south into Grand Chain, IL. You will see signs for the lodge as you enter the small village but if not take a left at the "Y" intersection onto Tick Ridge Rd and continue east a few miles until you see the lodge on your right.

I will have room for people to shoot on my boat for much of the weekend so please contact me if interested.

Hopefully Tommy Mac and I will be there. Counting the days. Just need the water to clear up a bit. I crossed the Missisippi last weekend and it was a mud bath. Looked like double chocolate milk.

Well they don't call it the big muddy for nothing. When we were in Paducah, the Ohio was murky but nothing like the Mississippi usually is.
Hopefully it will be even better by the time we get there.:)

The one nice thing about the area is we have so many options, in case one body of water is not displaying ideal conditions, we can fish another.

Looks like great weather is in the forecast for this weekend. Not too hot and no rain. Yipee! Should be room on a boat so consider coming down and shooting.
