From Bob at SILO (aka Dumbbass)...

OK, I got lots of requests for another shoot. I think July 25 will work! Again we'll shoot the Kaskaskia out of New Athens. I'll try to put together a flyer and post it here so you guys can print it out and post it where you see fit.

11am - 5 pm is the time $10 entry per fisher, optional $5 big fish pot.

I'll keep everyone posted here as to future developments!

i think we may get in on that,,be our first tournament shoot.

Drifter, if you do make it and there's a pontoon boat that says "Central Illinois Rough Fish Control Unit" on the side, stop over a say hello. I always like to put a name with a face.

will do,,all i can say about us is a 16' Jon with 4 hps lights up front and at least 2 big rednecks in it,,lol,,i know that probably don't help much,,ill defanatly look ya up,,

Hmmm... a couple of rednecks at a Bowfishing tourney... Yeah, should be able to pick you out no problem. LOL
You may be one of the few boats with lights though.

hey guys we should have a couple boats at the shoot from the BASI and we will be donating some door prizes. Should be a nice turn out.

Coming up quick! I gotta start getting ready. I think I'll start with a nap! :biggrin:

The winners once again were the team of Bill Dawson, Brendan Litteken, and Jason Foster with a total weight of 60.63#; These fellows also took the June bowshoot! Pretty skilled set of fellas I'd say and split $230



Jason also won the Big Fish with a 18# carp.. and $165


Second place went to Austin Curtis and Jeff Davitz with a total 37.15# (somehow they escaped the camera!) but not their $100!!!

We had a total of 32 registered shooters and total take of 303 pounds of fish..

When's the next SILO event planned for DB ?
