State boat inspection
 

For the first timers we have a Power Squadron Boat inspection prior to the tournament. It is not mandatory, but it is nice to pass and get their Safety sticker for your boat. Just a few things you will need to pass.

#1. Boat regestration and up to date.
#2. approved life preservers for all occupants
#3. Fire extinguisher
#4. Air horn or whistle
#5. Batteries in approved container or post covered
#6. First aid kit (not required but they want to see one)
#7. Working front Port & Starbard lights and rear running light
There are a few more things that I do not remember that they ask for, but these are pretty much what they require to pass.
