Well day one is done and umm .... Saginaw Bay is kickin' K and I's butts so far. Really it's the wind and waves that making it tough.

We went out nearly2 miles from shore and still were hitting rocks. [] We headed for some islands and we got there okay but couldn't hardly come back because the wind was too strongfor the troller and it was too shallow and rocky for an outboard motor. We didn't have much choice andhad touse the outboard to get back inand now 1/3 of the prop is scattered/scraped off into Saginaw Bay. [&o]
--Now I understand why there are so many airboats up here.

As for Team Extreme, they did pretty good with 806 lbs of fish. (we got 20 lbs [:'(]) Joseph did have biggest carp and gar when we left the weigh in but I don't know if he still has those two spots.

A couple of teams got over 1000 lbs. Impressive because the conditions are really pretty rough.

It's a good time tho'. Gary Brooks is keeping us extremely well fed and there's good company here at the motel.

Tomorrow theweatheris supposed to be rougher. More wind from an even worse direction and colder.

Still.... we havesome prop left... somaybe we'll get another 20 lbs of fish.

Well I figure it this way....If y'all don't replace your prop by the state shoot and you didn't rip out your lower end; we will be able to keep up with you with our 18hp
