finally made it to horse shoes over the weekend. weather really didn't help anything. I took a newbie he shot his first fish (and his only fish not to rub it in). I did my share of missing too, those skinny gar can make a guy look bad.

Cool. I went out friday and sunday on horseshoe. Went out to shelbyville on saturday. Didnt see much of anything at shelbyville. Was really disapointed in that lake, Not sure if it was the spots I was in but we found some nice flooded fields that looked great but didnt produce. If you get that way again let me know we can have a friendly shoot off!!!

I've been stuck at work so I haven't shot since then. I'm actually working on the draw bridge on the IL river. they won't let me take my bow. all I have is a jackhammer......mmmm...... maybe I'll try and kill'em with that!!!!
