Bowfishing In Iowa
 

Went out yesterday to a new river. Only managed one shot. Did manage to wack a large submerged rock and bent the propeller shaft on the motor. Still goes but have pretty good vibration. Went out to our favorite river today. Tyler (mr. Extreme) and I. Boated 16 common carp and just for Kendall shot a quill back. Found one cove that we had to get out and wade. Was Tyler's first time getting down and dirty with the fish.

Should be heading out again tomorrow again. Something is wrong we did not lose any arrows or fish today. Even did manage one double.

Dang, I remember when Tyler looked like a 'little' kid.

I lost my second arrow ever on Friday night. Shot it into a carp and my knot came undone. The arrow was sticking straight up out of the carp and the nock end just clattered along the pontoon as the carp tried to swim away under the boat. I just couldn't grab the arrow in time. [:@]
