I am not a Guide anymore, but if you ever want to come to calhoun or pike to hunt just let me know, I have a few spots left..

I'm sure I could not handle that bill! However, since we have the aging parts from your fish and we hope to learn even more from them yet, I definately owe you something. If you travel through Missouri, I'd love to buy you a beer at least. We are just off I-70, so we are on the way anywhere you want to go, heading west. I'd offer you a bowfishing trip, except I'm sure I'd just get put to shame.

We used to hunt several places in Pike. Had one leased for a small amount, THEN, as you know what happens, a guy (Jack by name ) leased the one spot for more land for elk farm. Then the other farm, an outfitter leased for big dollars. I got so fed up living in this state, and not having a place to hunt, I have almost quit deer hunting. I hate going to public land, and getting shot at!!! Out of state deer permits should be $10,000.00 IMHO...oh well. But if you know any land owners that allow late season doe reduction hunts, let me know, I am not a buck hunter, just like getting out, and love pistol doe hunting. Again, great job on your record!!

Darin: I bet the taxidermist would have done the work for free if you would have had a plaque that said "World Record Bighead, Taxidermy by XYX." You probably would have had to display the mount in public though.

Kyle, must of been Jack Buchannan.. I have a place up there by his place.. I have several good places to pistol hunt, let me know..

I've seen enough to tell you, "I want to come to Calhoun or Pike county!!!" LOL

They did do a terriffic job on your fish. Congrats on a great trophy. Not too many can say they've got a world record.

I soooooo hope you'll be able to bring it up to the D&T classic next year.

Cool! I'd love to see that big ole fishy in person.

We're going to have atraffic jam in front of the booth anyway. Might as well just accept that fact and make it even worse. :D
