Bowfisher of the year
 

Just found out that the brass carp shoot is a points shoot for the Bow fisher of the year. As I under stand it we are responsible to keep our one score. Does anyone know how it is scored? I know Slim has volunteered to keep score or track of it all. I would like to see the points break down. How many points for shooting. Points for placement and big fish or small fish. Citation fish etc..Thanks..

shooter of the year

10 points for every shoot you attend

placing points for tournament placing
50 points for 1st place 40 points for 2nd place 10 points for 5th place
each shooter in a team gets points

20 points for big fish at a tourney

20 points for any citation fish

50 points for any state record

20 points for working a show ie. grafton, deer classic, women in the outdoors... others?

20 points for every catergory won in ib9c

everyone must turn in there points within 45 days to be counted. tournament points will be added automaticaly. joseph ewing (slim23) will keep track of points. he will keep a running total of points on the forums. if any discrepencies are found please take them up with him and it will try to be resolved.

there will be a trophy for first and second place in both divisions. the club will pay for the trophys. they will be made up at the end of the year because it is not know if the team of the year will be 2 or 3 man.

Brass carp shoot is a shooter of the year points shoot.

Billy Davis Memorial Tournament (April 18/19)

Carlyle Tournament (May 16)

IL Bowfishers State Championship on Shelbyville (June 13/14)

Uncle Dave's Drill and Grill (Sept 12/13)

Poole Shoot on Clinton Lake (Sept 19)

Others that might count are the Wonder Lake carp shoot (if they hold one) andTheRough FishRound-up hosted by the Shelby Boys.

it is up to the officers and the club members how this is ran. yes you have to turn in your points for shooter of the year to me and christine needs to have a sticky at the top?? for a running total so everybody can see where they stand. as for the team of the year that will be more straight forward and will be posted after each shoot. i think it was decided that the shoots that counted was the ones that were listed in the club flyer???
