Carlye dam
 

Weather permitting, Snuffy, cliff, KBI-Prez and I are headed down to Carlyle dam and hook up with my cousin to wack some big heads on Saturday. Hopefully there will not be too many other boats as it gets a little crowded. Some guys do not mind you floating past them, so do not like it. We had some cat fishermen on the last trip that would run up below us and start a drift. You know how spookie big heads are, so it would kill or drift. We would have to move back up and start another drift. I am hoping that they did not know the difference and were doing it in ignorance. But weekends do get crowded. As the river is less than a 100 yds wide. Will be Snuffy, Cliff and Bill's first time shooting big heads this year. Should be a blast. I got tickled by my cousin. He called me from Bass Pro shops as he was buying a gaff and a billy club. He said in all his years of fishing he is 59 it was the first time he ever had to buy these items for BIG fish. He is hooked.
