DesPlaines river friday-night.
 

Mark and I got out friday for a few hours and a few milees up and down the DesPlaines. We seen alot of fish, but I was WAY off, so we onlt managed 32 for the night. I think Mark shot 25 of them. He borrowed my bow be cause he left his in Rockford and ended up shooting better than he has in a long time! My excuse was that I got use to a 48 pound compound and then went to a 55 pound recurve. BIG difference.

Steve forgot to mention we met a couple of guys out there that had been bowfishing for a total of 5 days. They had bowfishing fever pretty bad and had been out 3 times that week. There were in a small v bottom with 12 volt spot lights. They were pretty excited to see Steve's platform and light setup. I remember the one was named Mark. Who was the other Steve?

I thought his name was Brian. Pretty cool guys. And they were out there well-after midnight too. I think we'll be seeing alot more of them. One of them had a generator and the other said he had some flood-lights.

That's how it started for alot of us.
