You won't hear much smack out of me as I work on Friday nites. Now if the tournament was on Saturday nite....... If Jerod (Whirlpool) gets invited to the shoot ( he is looking for a ride) I will bet on the boat he is on. He has been slaughtering the fish at Clinton shooting about 98%.

Talked to Matt today. Water is still up but the shooting is getting better.
This tourney will pay out three places to the heaviest 20 fish division and one place for numbers if there are less than 15 boats. The more boats the more places will be paid out.
Being on a friday night, the water should be clearer. (less boat traffic before the tourney starts)
Matt has gathered up door prizes and a new Browning Barracuda will be raffled off. It should be a great time.

I would love to make it to this one...BUT NOOOOOOOO...I had to agree to teach the bow and pistol section at the McLean County Sportsmen's hunter safety course on Saturday not knowing it fell on the same weekend....
So, Christine, you want to teach a bow section for me in the course????

I won't be able to come to the Rough Fish Roundup. I bought a couple of raffle tickets for the Barracuda bow at the State Shoot. How can I purcase a couple more tickets. Maybe some others on this site might be interested in your raffle if you post what you are raffling off and how to obtain tickets.
Glad to see you finally made it to the club site.

anyone interested in buying raffle tickets can contact me at 217-273-7826. The raffle is for a new browning barracuda bow the tickets are $1 apiece or 6 for $5. anyone interested can mail me a check or if they know someone who is going to be at the tournament they can purchase the the tickets through them. anyone wishing to buy tickets can call me and I will give them the address to send the check to. The reason we are raffling the bow is to raise money for the cost of the tournament (permit, insurance, and awards) so that the tournament could be a 100% payout. Any extra money will be used to pay for more door prizes to be past out at the tournament. The drawing for the bow will be at the weigh in of the tournament noon on saturday thanks to anyone who buys tickets any questions feel free to call me.
