Damn I hate missing these!

Don't worry about Dr. Rob Billy; Mark and I will be back on a boat together and we'll be gunnin' for him.

I know waht you mean Bambam about another expensive hobby. I have about 6, and photography has been one for a while, although I know I'm not in as deep as you. I had a nice Cannon AE-1 a long time ago and it got me started. Now I have a nice Kodak digital and I love it. All I have as far as accessories for it are 2 tripods and an extra card. It gets me by.

I wish you would have gotten another picture of this guy. I assume this is Chris' bowfin?

I did get another shot of that fish it's the next picture as well......On that shot I muted all the red in the photo so you all would have a better view of the green fins and such..

We have a few kodak's as well Bowman.....my first one was my fav.....just a little ol point and shoot kodakz760...I liked it so much because it fit in my back pocket if we went to the woods or fishing...
My other one is a Kodak easy share 710 and it's ok but I don't like it as much as my first one for some reason....

Even Milky works the easy share kodak...lol

Bambam,

What was the IS lense you were using...not the L series, but the standard zoom? I want to upgrade glass on my 20D and was very impressed with the lense you had.

On alot of the photos I used a 18-85is canon lens...Several folkz suggested that I get that one and it's been a good lens IMO......On the other site IM on southern illinois outdoors we have shoot-outs sometimes and your more than welcome to come along if your ever down this way...:)

Thanks for the info. That's the lens I've been looking at.

Actually that one was shot during the tourney, not sure by whom.

Mine from the spillway afterwards was a female (no green fins).
It was my first bowfin ever, and only the second one I've seen.
